Tripura Bamboo Park is located around 20 km west of Agartala city at R.K Nagar, adjacent to Bodhjungnagar Industrial Growth Centre. The Bodhjungnagar Industrial belt is the most planned and equipped Industrial Zone in NE India that has large conglomeration of small and medium industries under operation. Bodhjungnagar industrial zone, has availability of piped natural gas, electrical power supply proximity to railway terminal, connected to NH with 2-Lane all weather road: only 25 km from Agartala airport
The Master plan for the Bamboo Park is over 64 acres out of which 22.5 acres will be developed in the first phase. The total cost of the Project is estimated at Rs. 29.36 crores. The Tripura Bamboo Park is already attracting investors to set up units in the proposed Park. Promotion & awareness for attracting investors are done by organizing one-to-one business meets, participating in business shows etc. The state government through TBM, TIDC and Industries Department is attracting investors through different schemes to invest in the Bamboo Park.
